Why goalsandprogress.com exists

I am Ramon Landes, and I run goalsandprogress.com from Zurich, next to a corporate job. The site helps you set goals that fit your life and keep working on them through a whole year.

How the articles are made

Every article starts with the research. I read the studies behind a method, look at how strong the evidence is and note where the method falls short. When the evidence is mixed, I write that too.

I like it when ideas connect. A method on its own often solves only part of a problem, because most frameworks fix one piece of a complex situation. So the articles combine methods where that helps. SMART goals make a goal measurable, for example, and WOOP adds the obstacles you will meet on the way. That is why I am a fan of WOOP.

The Life Goals App follows the same idea. It links several frameworks and tools into one workflow, where each step leads to the next.

The method

The method connects your values with what you do today. You set it up once a year, reflect every quarter, check in every week and plan each day. The article on the Goals and Progress method explains each step.

A workbook and an app

The Life Goals Workbook holds the whole method as a fillable PDF. It sends no notifications, needs no account and stays on your computer. You get a 14-day refund: reply to your receipt.

The Life Goals App follows the same method on your phone and your computer, for people who prefer to plan on a screen.
